We call what happens next. Then we keep score.
Simple Predictive is a blog about where power, money, tech, and geopolitics are heading, explained in plain English.
Most commentary tells you what just happened. We try to tell you what is likely to happen next, and we back it with history. Almost nothing in the news is truly new. Rate shocks, trade wars, tech bubbles, and political backlashes have all happened before, and how they played out is the best evidence we have.
How it works
Every article ends with a specific prediction: what will happen, by when, and how confident we are. We also name the source that will settle it. Then it goes on our public Scoreboard.
When the date arrives, we score it. Hits stay on the board. So do misses. We don’t delete or rewrite predictions after the fact. If we get something wrong, we say so and explain why.
How we work
- We start from current news and official data.
- We use AI tools to help with research. Every article is fact-checked against primary sources and reviewed and edited by a person before it is published.
- Numbers carry an “as of” date, so you can see how fresh they are.
- We don’t give personal financial advice, and we won’t tell you what to buy, sell, or do with your money.
